Product Description

Carbon Steel Zinc Plating Hot-DIP Galvanized Stainless Steel Expansion Drop-in Anchor

 Drop-In Anchor Bolt

Type: Drop-In Anchor
Definition: Drop-In anchors are female concrete anchors designed for anchoring into concrete. Drop the anchor into the pre-drilled hole in the concrete. Using a setting tool expands the anchor within the hole in the concrete.
Description: What is the difference between a drop-in anchor and a machine screw anchor? A drop-in anchor is designed for solid concrete, while a machine screw anchor is designed for use in brick, block, and concrete.
Application: Drop-In anchors should only be used in solid concrete. Their main use is to insert threaded rod to suspend electrical cable trays, HVAC ductwork and fire sprinkler pipe and heads. They can be used in applications that require a flush mounted anchor and when a bolt needs to be inserted and removed.
Drop-in anchors require a drop in anchor setting tool to bolt. You can use these anchors both on any concrete surface to secure objects to the desired area. While the drop in anchor is permanent, the new threaded hole allows a bolt to be removed or unscrewed when needed.
Others: Drop-In Anchors, for example, can easily be reused again and again. While the anchor itself cannot be removed, the anchor accepts machine screws and bolts of a given size. You may easily remove and reinsert the screw or bolt to fasten new objects to the anchor.
